Great inspirational story! It was fun seeing you on STP. I think there were only 2 riders I recognized from Yellow 6. All those miles and I had no idea. Glad you found some joy on a bike--alway fun!

Congrats to Sarah on completing the STP ! ! I rode my first STP this year also and am also 59. I rode with two friends (both age 25). Completing the event is something to feel good about and be proud and maybe even brag about.

I had so many people pulling for me. I came so close to hanging it up at the Scappose rest stop it wasn't even funny. After staying at the rest stop for more than 20 minutes and actually looking into options for not finishing I finally got back on the bike and finished.

I was filled with so many emotions when I finished. I was so impressed with the overall event and impressed with all the amazing cyclists who took on the challenge.

Congratulations Sarah! Great to read of your success through cycling. I'll look for you on next year's STP, too. In the meantime, if you want to look at some adaptive options to re-gain that 30% use of your leg for skiing, give us a call at Outdoors for All. You'd be amazed at some of the adaptive options we have for both cross country and downhill skiers with physical challenges. Ed Bronsdon, Outdoors for All Foundation
